For fast and easy 2/4 clutch removal and installation. This adapter set allows the technician to compress the 2/4 clutch spring with the No. 2987 Clutch Spring Compressor. Also can be used on many other transmissions where the same condition exists. On the Chrysler A604 Transmission, there are no grooves in the case for the No. 2987 to lock into. The 2/4 clutch is also too deep in the case to use a foot press or other clutch spring compressors.
